Higher Achievement, Academic Not-for-profit

Higher Achievement is a not-for-profit that provides free tutoring to students in a handfull east coast cities. For their national headquarters in Washington, DC, the designers conceived of a timeline and donor wall that incorporated a flexible pegboard system.

Donors could be edited and added and the wall would display the organization’s history in a timeline format. One hitch: the wall was in a hallway that didn’t allow the use of traditional pegboard hooks, and staff couldn’t access the back of the wall to utilize a nut and bolt style fastener.

The solution? A simple, plastic fastener that could attach to the front of pegboard panels. Plus, it looked good and was easy to use. It was also extremely affordable at 8 cents per piece.
